Welcome to the Shaffer & Shaffer website.
For over one hundred years, Shaffer & Shaffer has served individuals and businesses throughout West Virginia. We take pride in our reputation for honesty, integrity, service and results. Since 1909, Shaffer and Shaffer has grown from the solo practice of H.G. Shaffer, Sr., in Madison, West Virginia to a regional firm of twelve attorneys in three offices. In 1986, the firm moved to its newly constructed 12,000 square foot quarters at 330 State Street, in Madison, West Virginia. To better serve our growing client base, in 1990 we opened our Charleston offices overlooking the Kanawha River in the historic East End. In 2008, we opened our third office in Morgantown, West Virginia, to better serve our clients in the northern part of the state. Our firm and lawyers are listed in Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory and Shaffer & Shaffer has held Martindale’s highest rating (AV) for decades.
