Shaffer and Shaffer, PLLC has grown from the general practice of Harry G. Shaffer, Sr. who began his practice in 1909 and was joined by his son, Harry G. Shaffer, Jr. Since the 1970's, the firm has carefully expanded both geographically and in the scope of services we provide. Now in the 21st Century, we serve our clients with three offices representing individuals and businesses all across West Virginia and the surrounding states.

Shaffer and Shaffer  has over 100 years of experience in general civil litigation before state and federal courts throughout West Virginia, with an emphasis on personal injury cases, insurance law, social security law, workers’ compensation, mediation, coal, oil and gas law, and commercial and real estate law.
